How to add an AI chat widget to your Wix site

The script tag you'll be pasting looks like this:

Open Custom Code settings
From your Wix dashboard, go to Settings, then find Custom Code (listed under the Advanced section).

Add the script
Click + Add Custom Code and paste your widget's script tag from your Conversent dashboard.

Set where it loads
Give it a name (e.g. “Conversent Chat Widget”), set “Place Code in” to Body – end, and set “Load code on pages” to All pages, Load once.

Apply the code
Click Apply to save the custom code block.

Publish your site
Custom Code only goes live after you publish — saving inside the Editor alone isn't enough. Publish, then reload your live site.
How to verify it worked
After publishing, reload your live site (not the Editor preview) and look for the chat launcher in the bottom corner.
